Capturing is perfect for natural behaviors that are hard to prompt, such as a yawn, a stretch, a shake off, or settling down to relax. It is also a gentle, hands-off way to train, since you let your dog experiment and simply reward the moments you like.
Because you are only ever rewarding a behavior your dog chooses to offer, a dog cannot fail a capturing step. For this reason there is no fail button on these steps.
