Push Drop Stick
The dog training app that actually knows your dog
Meet Coach. An AI that gives honest, expert advice built for the dog in front of you, on training plans that adapt in real time and take out the guesswork: Push, Drop or Stick.
Train with positive reinforcement on plans that are never too hard or too easy. Ask Coach anything, mid-session or after — film a few reps and Coach will read them with you. Track every rep with detailed history, earn goals, and solidify skills with fun proofing games. Plans, the adaptive engine, history, goals and games are free forever.
You judge the reps. The app decides the difficulty — that's the whole point.

Meet Coach
The part that knows your dog.
Coach knows your dog
Meet Coach - Coach remembers your dog by name — their goals, their progress, what scares them, which treat is worth the hard stuff. Come back in three weeks and you don’t start over.
Answers made for your dog, not a FAQ
Bad day at the park? Just ask. Coach reads your actual session, rep by rep, and tells you what to do next. Want proof instead of opinions? Coach can search the published research and answer from real, cited studies, then hand you the papers. And Coach will tell you the truth — no quick fixes that aren't real, no shortcuts that hurt your dog. Just the next small step that works.
Stuck without a plan? Coach writes one
Coach builds and edits training plans with you, shaped around your dog. Every version is saved, so you can always go back.
Show Coach, or just talk
Film ten seconds of your dog, or drop in clips you already have, and Coach reads the key frames with you. Or talk instead of typing, so a question doesn't stop your session.
An example conversation with Coach
Owner: This is Winnie, my 14-month-old collie cross. She's terrified of the vacuum.
Coach: Hi Winnie! Fourteen months, one big fear — got her. Two things and I'll take it from here: what does she do when the vacuum comes out, leave the room or freeze and stare? And what's her absolute favorite treat?
Owner: Rough one at the park today. Her recall fell apart.
Coach: I've read the session. 3 of 5 at 10m, and all three misses came after the other dogs arrived, so the app told you to Stick rather than push on. That's the right call. Her recall isn't broken: 10m with three dogs is simply a harder step than 10m without one. Keep judging the reps honestly and it will find her level.
Owner: A friend says just vacuum more and she'll get used to it.
Coach: I'd rather not. That's flooding, and there is no evidence it works — nobody has even shown it's safe. What does have evidence is the slow version: keep her under her startle threshold and pair every dose with food. Here are the papers. (Answered from 3 cited studies)
Owner: Can we do something about the vacuum?
Coach: Writing you one now. Eight steps, starting with the vacuum parked across the room and switched off. It's a feelings plan, so a single bad rep drops it back a step: Winnie sets the pace, not me. (Training plan: Winnie and the Vacuum, v1 — every version saved)
Owner: First go at step one. Here are her last three reps. (5 key frames)
Coach: Frame 4 tells the story. The vacuum is still switched off and she's already tucking her tail and turning her head away. That's a “too close” answer, not a stubborn one — the sight of it is enough. There's a closet behind her in the frame, so I've put two easier steps in front of step one: you touch the doorknob, she gets paid, and the vacuum stays out of sight. (Training plan: Winnie and the Vacuum, v2 — add closet opening steps)
Every rep, tracked
Step back through any session, see your rate of reinforcement, and share a color-coded progress graph.
Share your dog
Partner, family, or trainer, and goals, sessions, plans and notes come too. Unlimited dogs, unlimited people.
Your clicker, heard
Bring your own physical clicker and the app hears it and marks the win. Runs on your phone, free, and quick to ignore barks.
Mark reps from your wrist
Apple Watch support means genuinely hands-free marking. Close your rings while you train.
Goals your dog has actually earned
Every skill your dog nails becomes a goal — hand signals, verbal cues, distance, duration, distractions, comfort, and the behaviors they start offering on their own. Green means solid. Blue means it needs a review. All built on 60+ professional training plans → see the plan library
Then take them anywhere
Does your dog really know "down," or do they just know it comes after "sit"? A proofing game shuffles the goals they've earned and calls them in random order, so your dog answers the cue, not the pattern, and the skills stay sharp. Play in the kitchen, then the yard, then anywhere. No pressure, no corrections — and free to play, forever.
