Short for repetition, also referred to as a trial. A rep is a single attempt at one specific step in a training plan.
Reps are typically performed back-to-back within a structured set (often 5 reps per set) to gather clear data on your dog's understanding and reliability. In certain protocols, especially with classical conditioning, reps may be delivered more randomly or scattered throughout the day rather than in formal training sessions.
You score every rep as a pass or a fail, and the app tallies the results at the end of the set to determine whether to Push, Drop, Stick, or Split.
